This is where the beauty sleeps
In a glass house of longing
Where the piano is playing
The rhythm of the lost
Souls appear and disappear
With the emotions they bring
And a mourning of what we held
And folded neatly into our chests
This is where the beauty wakes

“Where beauty sleeps” is a glass display cabinet which holds some precious, broken and worn out childhood toys and trinkets. Each item has a story of being lost and found or belonging to multiple owners. The inside if the cabinet is decoupaged with pages of a beloved Asterix book from my childhood.
