If I didn't tell you, how would you know
How far into the tunnel I've gone
Spectrwm o'r Golwg
Spectrum of Sight
R'n'D
Art Installation / Gosodiad Celf
Having discovered she has a degenerative eye condition, Bridie is stepping into the uncertain world of impending blindness. With this immersive art installation, Bridie is exploring the spectrum of sight, how we see, what we see and what it means to be an artist when the visual world is getting lost in the dark.
Ar ôl darganfod bod ganddi gyflwr llygad dirywiol, mae Bridie yn camu i fyd ansicr dallineb sydd ar ddod. Gyda'r gosodiad celf ymgolli hwn, mae Bridie yn archwilio sbectrwm y golwg, sut yr ydym yn gweld, yr hyn a welwn a beth mae'n ei olygu i fod yn artist pan fydd y byd gweledol yn mynd ar goll yn y tywyllwch.
Soundscapes

Bright white lights roll around eyelids.
A lot of light, but no use for seeing in the dark.
Stumbling forward for fear of pain.
Llaw dros law.
Obstacles I didn't catch and tripped and fell.
Black and white chevrons indicate a sharp turn in the road. High contrast.
High visibility
Black, white, du, gwyn
Messages in neon melyn
Cadair, cwpan, bowlen, llwy
Matt black blends into nothingness
2D, 3D
Visible view, invisible view
Is there a world beyond your fingers?
Do you know?
Do you Trust?
Do you trust that a chair is a chair and can be sat on?
My great mamgu's chair.
Partially prydferth
Rhannol broken
Why don't you cymer sedd?
Rest your weary eyes
